We’re proud to share news about Total Healthcare’s broad range of services that address the health, social and mental wellbeing needs of communities we support.
As a primary health organisation (PHO) we believe in bringing a broader perspective to the provision of primary healthcare in New Zealand. After all, that’s why PHOs were originally set up.
Providing quality healthcare close to home is always important to us and that’s why we choose to be innovative.
In this year’s annual report you can find out more about our support for: family harm prevention, young Pasifika and Māori mums and their babies, and HPV self-sampling to fight back against low cervical screening rates for Māori women.
You can also read about our investment in the Wellness Support Team to make it easier to get access to mental wellness support in GP clinics that helped lead to greater government commitment in this area nationally too.
