Services

All Local Doctors clinics offer patients standard medical services and community and health promotion services. Some clinics also offer free after hours services.

We receive additional funding from the government to help reduce any barriers to care for groups of people with the greatest need. This money pays for services to improve access (SIA) to regular GP services. The Ministry of Health identifies the target groups for these free services as Māori, Pacific and people living in designated poor areas.
